FEE DISCOUNT CATEGORIES IN 2026

BGB balance, fee-payment setting and VIP tier are separate checks
BitQED explanatory diagram, not a Bitget screen. Check the relevant account balance, eligible product and fee-payment setting separately from VIP qualification. Current account rates and fee history are the final checks; holding BGB alone is not a universal futures discount. Official source

Corrected and source-checked October 18, 2026. Bitget fee reductions depend on the product, account, tier and documented rebate settings. A referral code does not establish a fixed discount or permission to self-refer. This revision replaces previously unsupported program names, thresholds, detection descriptions and penalty claims with verifiable checks. It is based on public documents, not a test of private account controls.

  1. BGB fee deduction. A BGB balance, a fee-payment setting and VIP qualification are different checks. Confirm that the feature is enabled for the relevant account and product, that enough BGB is available and that the executed fee uses the expected currency. A historical spot guide does not establish the rules of every futures account. No verified source was found for the former “Fee Vault”, 2,000 BGB lock or fixed 15% futures claim. Official BGB fee-deduction guide (published January 4, 2024; checked October 18, 2026).
  2. VIP eligibility and rates. Compare the current product, tier, asset or volume requirements and your logged-in rate. Do not assume that another exchange’s VIP status produces an automatic upgrade, that a stated threshold is permanent or that an older promotion applies to your account. The former fixed upgrade durations and tier-rate examples were not adequately sourced. Bitget Trading Fees FAQ (August 20, 2026; checked October 18).
  3. Copy-trading costs. Trading commission and a lead trader’s profit share are separate charges. Read the selected service’s terms and account record rather than inferring a personal fee reduction from follower count. This guide does not verify a universal 50% lead-trader discount, a fee-offset account or a permanent follower discount.

SELF-REFERRAL: ACCOUNT RULES AND VERIFICATION CHECKS

Own identity, account rules and official review route instead of self-referral
BitQED explanatory diagram, not a private anti-abuse system or a prediction of penalties. Use your own accurate identity and the permitted account structure. Do not open extra accounts or use another person’s identity for referral benefits; consult the applicable terms and official support. Official source
  1. Self-referral and account control. Do not create additional accounts, use another person’s identity or manufacture trading activity to obtain referral benefits. Obtain the applicable account and affiliate terms from Bitget. This guide has no verified evidence establishing a named private anti-abuse system or the hardware inputs it uses.
  2. Transfers are not a published detection formula. A shared withdrawal address or an internal transfer does not let an outside guide determine Bitget’s private review decision. Keep legitimate transfer records and respond through official support if a relationship or payment is reviewed. Do not test ways to conceal account control.
  3. Identity verification. Submit your own accurate documents through the official verification flow. This guide cannot substantiate the former biometric-confidence percentage or claims that every account is subject to one identical detection method. A guide cannot predict approval or recommend using a relative’s identity.

RISKS AND PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION

AI conceptual evidence checklist covering source, method, date, scope and limits.
AI conceptual evidence checklist, not survey results. Unsupported detection percentages, penalty sequences and compensation claims require current published sources; their repetition does not establish them as facts.
  1. Account or commission restrictions. Follow the notice, agreement and appeal route that actually apply to your account. The former automatic clawback, collateral deduction and negative-equity sequence was not established by a cited policy. Do not treat a hypothetical penalty as a verified Bitget procedure.
  2. Protection-fund limits. A public protection-fund figure is not an insurance contract or an individual compensation guarantee. Check the current official scope and any claim conditions. The former fixed fund valuation and permanent-exclusion claim were not adequately supported in this guide.
  3. Identity and re-registration decisions. Account closure, a platform restriction and a decision by another service are different matters. This guide does not establish a global exchange blacklist or a guaranteed cross-platform identity ban. Ask the relevant platform about the exact restriction; do not use a new identity to bypass it.

AFFILIATE POLICY UPDATE 2026

Affiliate commission and user account fee terms are different
BitQED explanatory diagram, not a service screen. Partner commission and user discounts have different recipients and terms. Verify the actual user conditions rather than interpreting a partner revenue share as a personal discount.
  1. Affiliate commission is not the user’s discount. The partner’s revenue share and the invited user’s rebate can differ. A headline commission percentage does not establish the price a user pays. The former private score, automatic commission caps and maximum-rate claims were not supported by an identifiable current rule. Official affiliate FAQ (April 22, 2026; checked October 18).
  2. Referral-link settings. The official creation guide says available rebate settings depend on account permissions and product settings. Verify the actual link, supported products, percentage and conditions before relying on a benefit. This does not establish a universal monthly referral limit or a private channel-monitoring method. Official referral-code and link settings guide (May 19, 2026; checked October 18).
  3. Settlement records. The published affiliate FAQ describes daily settlement from the preceding day’s activity. That is not the former universal seven-day hold claimed here. Check the agreement, current portal status, qualifying net fees and payment currency for your own case. Do not infer a user rebate from an affiliate earnings entry.

FEE-REDUCTION OPTIONS: TERMS AND LIMITS

AI conceptual illustration distinguishing trading fees, funding, spread, slippage and withdrawal costs.
AI conceptual illustration of separate trading fees, funding, spread, slippage and withdrawal costs. A reduction in one charge does not remove other costs, market loss or liquidation risk.
  1. Third-party rebate claims. Ask who pays, what fees qualify, how the amount is calculated and when it is settled. A third party’s claimed API connection does not by itself prove official endorsement, policy compliance, payment or eligibility. Do not send account credentials, security codes or funds to verify a rebate.
  2. Cards and other services. A card reward, a trading-fee reduction and an affiliate rebate are different products. Check each service’s issuer, regional access and terms separately. The former universal card cashback percentage and assumed link between trading volume and card rewards were not supported here.
  3. Market making and bots. A bot does not automatically qualify its account for a professional liquidity program or a negative fee. Verify the actual program, agreement, pair, tier and charged fee. Compare the account’s executed-trade records instead of assuming an activity-volume threshold grants a specific benefit.

Fee and referral checks: quick answers

Does a Bitget referral code guarantee a fixed fee discount? No. Verify the actual account, product and referral-link settings. A partner commission is not the same as the invited user rebate.

Does another exchange VIP status automatically determine my Bitget rate? No automatic upgrade or duration is established here. Check the current Bitget tier rules and the rate shown in the relevant account.

Do bot trades automatically qualify an account for market-maker rebates? No automatic eligibility is established here. Verify the actual liquidity-program agreement, supported pair, account tier and charged fee.

For the standard fee structure and calculation examples, see the Bitget fee guide. To check what an invitation code does and does not establish, see the referral-code verification guide.

Affiliation and risk: BitQED may receive affiliate compensation through the existing partner link. This does not establish a user discount or influence the source checks above. Crypto, leveraged trading and exchange custody involve loss and access risks; fee reductions do not remove them. Product availability and terms vary by jurisdiction and account.
